B &B The Protea is located on the infamous Menin Road, just outside of Ypres which is a 5-minute drive away. The hosts Alain & Annie welcome you with coffee or tea.

The hotel rooms are situated in a garden setting and have a private bathroom and a TV. There are various sitting areas throughout the B &B where you can relax.

An English breakfast is available for you in the morning. There is a storage area for bicycles and motorbikes. When weather is nice you can relax with a drink in the garden.

B &B The Protea is situated in the centre of The Ypres Salient, near the battle scenes of World War I and Flanders Fields. The owners Alain and Annie organise tours through the battlefields and maps and day trips can be provided to explore the area by yourself. The A9 motorway is a 10-minute drive away.
